 limitless 2011

The sub-genre of this movie is utopia as In Limitless, Bradley Cooper takes a pill that opens up closed regions of his brain to boost his intelligence, motor skills and more. The drug donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor. This means it increases the amount of acetylcholine around nerve endings and helps boost brain function.

Bradley Cooper has to deal with the rejection of his girlfriend and unemployment. The way life is now he is sure he has no future that all changes when an old friend gives him a drug that produces enhanced mental acuity. Stoked on these new pills Bradley rises to the top in the financial world and meets a tycoon that has plans of making a fortune out of him. But due to the side effects of this pill and with the loss of Donepezil his financial life comes to a disasterous end.

Limitless is a Science-fictional film as the drug he takes gives him superpowers that makes him clever and allows him to do anything or answer any question.

Bradley cooper is linked to the Science fiction genre as when he takes this pill he gets this ability that a human can not develop. He can do anything he wants, speaks any language, can answer any question and other amazing things.

  1. Maya - WWW: Your blog is up to date and it appears that you have put a lot of time and effort in to meeting all the requirements of the summer research project. Well done.

EBI: The formatting of your blog is a little confusing. Talk to HITIK about how he organised his (politely) and see if it would be possible to make it tidier. Your analysis of target audience is a little vague in the summer research project and you would benefit from thinking carefully about who was the audience for the film.

LR: - in a new blog post answer the following...who was it aimed at? was there more than one audience for it? What gender were they? What other films will they watch? WHat media will they access? How much do they earn? What education have they had? Think of some similar questions and answer them too
